The awarded project is a robotic welding system with a vision system for quality control. PROPOINT's scope of work included the following stages:

• Pre-engineering i.e. concept development and basic design, process optimisation and selection of all system components.
• Implementation of the project from the simulation phase, offline programming of the PLC and ROB, to system construction and commissioning.
• Implementation of four KUKA robots and a Fronius CMT welding source.
• Welding with reduced energy (heat) input into the process.
• Implementation of a vision system for quality verification of initial components and final product.
• Implementation and integration of comprehensive WeldCube Premium welding system supervision software.
• Integration of the nest with the MES master system.

With this solution, the photovoltaic panel manufacturer can weld mounting hooks safely and efficiently.
